Organizational Equity Assessments

Rooting Movements helps organizations ensure that their work is consistent with their mission and values by conducting Organizational Equity Assessments, which are sometimes referred to as “Audits”. We find that when we use the term audits, people tend to focus on the negative, and our assessments are comprehensive in highlighting areas where the organization is doing well in addition to areas for improvement.

The assessment process includes engaging in confidential interviews with staff, board members and key stakeholders; conducting an organizational policy review; and writing a report for the organization with our findings and recommendations.
